Sociology
This minor is intended to give students the opportunity to study social life, social change, and the social causes and consequences of human behavior. Students enrolled in this minor are required to register with a minor advisor through the sociology department office. At least one 4 credit course must be taken at the 400 level. Please note that SOC 370 is a prerequisite for most 400 level courses. Reading, research, independent study, workshops, and seminars may be included with advisor consent. Upper division electives applied toward the minor cannot include practicum credits. Students must have an average GPA of 2.5 or higher and a minimum grade of C- in all courses counted toward the minor.
