Minors
Human Communication
This minor is intended to give students majoring in other disciplines the opportunity to develop their verbal and nonverbal communication knowledge and skills. Students enrolling in the minor must achieve a 2.75 GPA in their Communication coursework. All courses must be taken for a letter grade unless instructor permission is obtained.
The Human Communication minor requires successful completion of the following 28 credits:

| COMM 201 | Media Across Cultures | 4 credits |
4 credits from one of the following:
| COMM 125 | Interpersonal Communication | 4 credits |
| COMM 210 | Public Speaking | 4 credits |
| COMM 225 | Small Group Communication | 4 credits |
| COMM 310 | Advance Public Speaking | 4 credits |
| 16 credits of approved upper division Communication courses* |
