Graduate Exit Survey
You are encouraged to take the graduate exit survey found here. This online survey shouldn't take more than a minute or two and will greatly assist the University in learning about your experience during your tenure here. It also helps us ensure that we have your most up to date contact information.
Diplomas
You will not receive your diploma at the commencement ceremony. Your diploma will be mailed to you in late July. Summer term graduates will receive their diplomas in October. Fall and winter term graduates should have received their diplomas by now. Please note that diplomas will not be mailed until all financial holds have been removed from your student account.
SOU Alumni Association
The Southern Oregon University Alumni Association recognizes and cultivates diversity in the student body, alumni, and University community and celebrates the ways in which alumni contribute to the University. The Alumni Association would like to welcome the Class of 2008 to the Alumni Association and looks forward to keeping you connected to one another and your alma mater through activies and programs such as the Alumni Career Network, the Raider Online Community, the National Day of Service, the Distinguished Alumni Dinner, Party in the Pearl and Homecoming. SOU Technology Services
Access to various Technology Services will remain available to you for a period of time after your graduation from Souther Oregon University. These services include things like SISWeb, Blackboard, computer labs, personal network storage, and email. The period of time for which these services will remain active varies. Please click here for detailed information on the continued use of your SOU Technology Services.
SOU Career Development Services
You may continue to utilize SOU Career Development Services for one year after you graduate at no charge. You will have full access to our services which include:
- Individual career counseling
- Resumé and cover letter feedback
- Career events, including our annual Career Fair
- Weekly resumé and interviewing skills workshops
- Employer information sessions
- Career library and online resources
SOU CareerLink is Southern Oregon University’s web-based job and internship listing service, offering students and alumni the opportunity to search and apply for positions with participating employers. New local and national openings are posted regularly and kept updated. To register, contact Career Development Services or go to http://www.sou.edu/careers/alumni and select the “Search Employment Opportunities” link.
