Preview Days, Preview Weekends and Transfer Days
We offer Preview Days, Preview Weekends and Transfer Days during the academic year where you will be introduced to University life and the many people that make SOU a special place.
On Preview Day, you will tour campus, meet with faculty in your major, and explore campus resources and facilities. There is no cost for our Preview Day programs, but we ask you to please sign-up for the event in advance. The Preview Day dates for 2007 - 2008 are Friday, November 9, 2007 and Friday, April 11, 2008. Click here to learn more about Preview Days or to sign up!
Preview Weekend provides you with everything that Preview Day provides and more: the opportunity to become a Raider for a weekend including staying overnight in an SOU dorm! Advance registration and payment are required for Preview Weekends. The Preview Weekend dates for 2007 - 2008 are January 18-19, 2008 and February 1-2, 2008. Transfer Day is just like Preview Day except they are designed with transfer students in mind. There is no cost for our Transfer Day programs, but we ask you to please sign-up for the event in advance. Campus Tours
Come and explore Southern Oregon University. We offer campus tours Monday - Friday at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm during the regular academic year.
If you are not able to get to our campus during regular tour hours, we can provide you with a self guided tour booklet and parking permit to allow you to explore the campus at your own leisure. Please contact the Admissions Office at 541-552-6411 to have a self-guided tour booklet and parking permit sent to you. Saturday Tours
Saturday tours are available by appointment at 11:00 am on selected days during the regular academic year.
