Raider Receptions
Each March, SOU hosts evening and weekend programs at sites throughout Oregon to congratulate admitted students and to share with them the next steps to becoming a Raider. The goal of this program is to move these students from being admitted to being enrolled. These events occur in Portland (3 sites), Bend, Coos Bay, Eugene, Grants Pass, Medford, Roseburg, and Salem. In addition to a member of the Admissions team, a current student from the area where the event is held, an alum, and sometimes a parent of a current student staff the reception with a brief program and lots of questions and answers.
